Janine Heinis, LPC, NCC - Executive Director​

Janine is the Founder and Executive Director of Practical Therapy Network (PTN.) She a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development from Montclair State University. Over the past decade, Janine has worked with clients in hospital, residential, partial, outpatient and in-home settings. With a diverse background in working with children and adults, Janine started PTN to meet the needs of both, including family work. Janine has brought on therapists with a variety of treatment modalities, certifications and experiences in order to meet the needs of the clients. Janine and the PTN team look forward to continuing providing the very best treatment to the individuals we serve. 

Denissie Santana, LPC, NCC – Intensive In-Home Clinical Supervisor​

​Denissie Santana is a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. Denissie earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Montclair State University. Denissie is a nationally certified counselor. Denissie has been working as an Intensive In-Community Counselor for the past 6 years. Denissie enjoys working with individuals of all ages. Denissie works from a collaborative, strength-based approach. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, self-injurious behavior, ADHD, ODD, ASD, grief, anger, eating disorders, and trauma. Modalities used in treatment may include play therapy, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, painting, and advocating for animal rights.

Meghan Yahrling, LAC – Outpatient Therapist

​Meghan is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health and minors in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies and Childhood Studies from Stockton University. Meghan earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Meghan has experience in working with young adults dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, identity-related stressors, trauma and troubles with self-esteem. She uses her interest in holistic interventions to guide the counseling process by using mindfulness techniques and mind-body-soul connectedness methods to allow the client to feel not only empowered, but educated. Meghan is also a Clinically Certified Trauma Professional and is able to guide clients on how to work through trauma they may have experienced in a holistic and somatic manner. She strongly believes in the client-counselor connection and using this as the foundation to heal while creating a welcoming and warm space for the client to express vulnerability to dig deeper. 

Danielle Krueger, LSW – Outpatient Therapist

​Danielle is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of New Jersey. Danielle received her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University with a concentration in clinical social work and her Bachelors in Social Work (BSW) from Georgian Court University. Her experience comprises working with adults, couples, families, young adults, teens, LGTB-Q, children, and adolescents. Danielle’s professional experience includes working in addiction treatment as a primary therapist with substance use disorders, in addition to co-occurring diagnoses. Danielle continues to work as an individual therapist, and an intensive in community clinician with children and youth referred through the State of New Jersey in need of intensive therapy. Her knowledge includes working with youth presenting with immediate behavioral issues, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, anger, grief, school performance, and mental health issues.  Danielle believes in a client-centered approach with a primary focus on a therapeutic alliance. She feels strongly about a holistic method, by including mindfulness approaches guided meditations in session. Danielle incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy as she believes in a multi-disciplinary approach. The journey of healing and embracing vulnerability is not always an easy road, and as a therapist, she considers it indeed a privilege to be a part of this process with all her clients.  

Kelly Bossard, LSW – Outpatient Therapist

Kelly is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in New Jersey. She earned her master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice in the field of Contemporary Social Issues. Kelly has worked successfully with people experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, suicidal thoughts, substance use disorders, and severe mental illness. She has helped clients cope with trauma due to domestic violence, childhood abuse, sexual assault, and other stressful life events or conditions. Her practice is sex-positive, anti-oppressive, and gender-affirming. Kelly creates a supportive and judgement-free environment that promotes relief from troubling symptoms and helps the client work towards positive outcomes while fostering resilience. She uses a “person in the environment” lens and a holistic, strengths-based approach to create tailored interventions based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness methods, and Stress-Reduction skills.   ​

Beth Tecchio, LSW – Outpatient Therapist

Beth is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in New Jersey.  She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from William Paterson University and her Masters Degree From Columbia School of Social Work in New York.  She has over 20 years of experience working in a school district as a School Social Worker and Director of Special Services.  She has worked with children, families, adolescents and adults in various settings which include, schools, outpatient therapy and Psychiatric Emergency Services.

​Beth believes that change happens when people are ready to heal and are given the guidance that they need.  Change also happens when we draw upon our own strengths and realize the potential to change in order to live a fulfilling happy life.  Healing is a collaborative effort by creating goals in treatment and working together to reach those goals in order to be able to be productive in all areas of our lives. While in treatment we will work together to get past the obstacles or issues that have been preventing you from moving forward.
